Mail letters to Santa Claus by December 16th

Children around the world still have more than two weeks to send their holiday wishlist to Santa Claus.

Chief Postal Elf Holly T. Elf says they’re expecting nearly 1.5 million letters this year, including 2,500 from the Grande Prairie region.

Holly says she got a special message about one from Santa this morning.

“He had a letter from Ryan, a little boy in the Grande Prairie area. Ryan had asked Santa a very important question, and he wanted Ryan to know that the answer to that question was, ‘Anything with chocolate.'”

Santa’s postal elves are hard at work making sure everyone gets a response in time for Christmas, but there’s a couple things you can do to help.

“To include a return address is very important, because while Santa knows where you live, his postal elves need that information to make sure the letter gets back to you. They need to mail their letter by December 16th; it’s a long way to the North Pole and back.”

Children also need to know Santa’s address, which is at the North Pole, postal code HOH OHO.

Kris Kringle can chat in more than 30 languages, including braille.
