An upcoming forum may help people in Grande Prairie decided on who to vote for in the upcoming election. The Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an all candidates forum on April 9th.
Tracy Allard (UCP), Grant Berg (Alberta Party) and Todd Russell (NDP) will be in attendance for the Grande Prairie riding while Terry Dueck (Independent), Shannon Dunfield (NDP), Jason Jones (Alberta Party) and Travis Toews (UCP) will be there running for the Grande Prairie-Wapiti riding.
Each candidate will have the opportunity to expand on their political platform. Once all candidates have been heard, the question period will begin.
People will be able to ask questions at the forum but will also be able to email questions to [email protected] beforehand. For email questions, people are reminded to say which riding they live in and whether the question is for a specific candidate or all candidates.
The event will be held at the Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre at Grande Prairie Regional College from 6:30 to 9:30. It will also be live-streamed on the chamber’s Facebook Page.
