Starting Friday, County of Grande Prairie assessors will be back in specific areas around the region to conduct property re-assessments.
“The information collected by our Assessors during a re-inspection allows the County to keep its
records up-to-date,” says Dawn Sauvé, Director of Corporate Services. “The County evaluates properties annually to determine their estimated market value, which is used to calculate property taxes.”
Assessors will be focusing on properties within Ranges 5, 6, and 7 of Township 70, 71, and 72, excluding the hamlet of Clairmont.
Properties within the black outline on the map below are those affected by the re-assessments.
