Someone walking around with a replica gun managed to hold up traffic near the casino last night.
After reports of a man with a pistol in his jacket, RCMP arrested a man and woman around 5:30 Wednesday.
Since the gun was just a realistic looking fake, the man was let go without charges, but the 20 year old woman he was with was caught in possession of illegal drugs.
Corporal Roy Kennedy advises anyone who has realistic replica firearms not to carry them in plain view, as you can only tell the difference when you look up close.

That means police have to investigate each call as a potential threat to cause serious bodily harm or death to the public.
