After five years, the KMSC Law golf tournament is making a move.
Tournament Chair Lyle Carlstrom says the event will be held at the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club in July 2015, and will be in partnership with RE/MAX Northern Realty.
“Our event with theirs starting on the 19th of July with two days of RE/MAX longball competition, and finishing on the 21st and 22nd with golf event and golf tournament.”
Last summer’s event netted a record amount, with nearly $77,000 going to 18 different non-profit organizations.
“We’re always amazed at Grande Prairie’s generosity,” says Carlstrom. “That generosity’s allowed us to make a really fun event that people are starting to look forward to and starting to support already.”
They also plan to start raising money through other events around Halloween and Robbie Burns Day.
