A trial held yesterday found a Grande Prairie man guilty of causing an animal distress.
Byron Tel Sutherland was charged by the SPCA in April 2013 under the Animal Protection Act.
The 44 year old was fined $2,000Â for causing a horse distress, but was found not guilty of withholding food and water.
