The City is putting the finishing touches on a draft of the Bear Creek North Area Structure Plan. An open house will be held on October 17th to talk about the plan for land north of the Grande Prairie Airport and west of 116 Street.
Area structure plans are meant to guide the city in long-term planning and development, combining current residential, agricultural and recreation use.
The city started gathering public feedback in 2017 and is now in its final phase of the process. All information gathered at this open house will help refine and finalize a draft of the ASP before it heads to City Council in December.
The open house will be held at Country Roads RV Park on Township Road 722. It will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on a drop-in basis.
