Drivers will be unable to use 68 Avenue from Knowledge Way to Poplar Drive on September 9 because of the Eastlink Centre Triathlon.
To ensure the safety of both participants and drivers, the road will be completely closed from 6:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
This year’s route was changed as a way to improve the triathlon experience based on feedback from last year’s participants.
Over 200 local, provincial and regional athletes are expected to participate in the event making it the largest triathlon in the Peace Region.
