Several police agencies have reportedly dismantled an extensive cocaine distribution network with ties to Grande Prairie and Whitecourt. Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams say Project Entry was a year-long, joint investigation with the RCMP’s Federal Serious and Organized Crime division.
The network is alleged to be linked to a member of the Hells Angels and support club members. Along with Grande Prairie and Whitecourt, the communities of Edmonton, Spruce Grove, and Cold Lake were also impacted.
More details are expected to be given by police at a press conference in Edmonton Thursday morning. It will be livestreamed on ALERT’s Twitter page at 10 a.m.
