Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for a truck in connection with a shooting last week. A 62 year old man was shot at the campground at Evergreen Park sometime before 6 a.m. on August 14th.
Witnesses noticed a dark coloured truck in the area around that time and police are hoping the public can help identify the vehicle’s owner. No other details have been released.
The victim was found in a trailer suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
At the time, mounties believed the shooting wasn’t a random act, and that there was no additional risk to public safety. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
