The Peace River School Division is now looking for public input on the possibility of moving its central and support service offices to one central location.
A report by the Alberta School Boards Association found the school division could save $1.87 million over five years if it relocated its offices in Manning, Fairview, and Peace River to Grimshaw High School.
That became a possibility when the Shared School Facility Project was approved, meaning a K to 12 public and K to 9 Catholic school will be attached to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex by the 2016 school year.
Anyone interested in attending a community consultation meeting is asked to RSVP to Erin Cusack at 780-624-3650 ext. 10103 or [email protected] so they can make plans.
