Part of 111A Street will be closed for the next few weeks. The section from 84 Avenue and 89 Avenue will be completely shut down to traffic crews will be building pipe underground.
It’s part of the Richmond Storm Ponds Project, which is meant to help water drain from the area and lessen the risk of flooding during major storm by building new storm ponds. The road closure will start on Tuesday and should last for two-and-a-half weeks.
