Charges laid after B&E and pursuit

A Clairmont man is facing several charges stemming from reports of a break and enter and police chase early Tuesday morning. Two men reportedly broke into a home in South Patterson around 3:45 a.m., assaulted someone and forced them into a vehicle that led officers on a chase.

38-year-old Kendall Kruger has been charged with kidnapping, uttering threats, and break and enter. His charges also include the operation of a motor vehicle while being pursued by police, resisting a police officer, mischief under $5,000 and carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He remains in custody with a court date set for July 9th.

Grande Prairie RCMP say they’re still looking for a second suspect from the B&E. The other man left in a different vehicle and hasn’t been found. He is pictured below:
