Charges laid after search at Parkside Inn

A search warrant at the Parkside Inn has led to charges against three people. Grande Prairie RCMP say they were looking into a resident of the motel for drug trafficking and arrested the trio on May 31st.

Police reportedly seized two illegally owned guns and three illegal magazines, as well as a small amount of meth and what they call evidence of drug trafficking. The three suspects are all from Grande Prairie. A 29 year old man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, while a 41 year old man and 27 year old man are facing several counts of caress storage and unauthorized possession of a firearm or ammunition.
