19 year-old Justice Watt-Blais is expected to make his first appearance in a Grande Prairie court Wednesday. He is charged with second degree murder after his girlfriend, 16 year-old Hannah Sutton, was found dead December 16.
An autopsy confirmed she died from a gunshot wound. Her family told CBC News they have “received several possible scenarios from police about the events leading up to Sutton’s death.”
Three other men and a youth are all facing charges of accessory after the fact, they are scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
