UPDATE: RCMP in Whitecourt are still searching for a missing 19 year old male who was last seen in Rotary Park. An eight person volunteer dive team is focusing on the pond area, which it not an official swimming spot, while police are going over security footage. His name has not yet been released, as the investigation into his disappearance is ongoing. His family was on the scene last night.
Police in Whitecourt are searching for a 19 year old man, who was last seen around an area that is commonly used for swimming.
RCMP K-9 along with a volunteer dive team have been searching the area since around 4 pm yesterday.
The name of the man is not being released at this time, and another update on the search is expected this morning.
