Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for the driver in a cyclist hit and run Sunday. The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near the Riocan Centre.

Police say the 35 year old man was hit while on his bike and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a heavyset woman in a newer black sedan. The vehicle had a booster seat and an Alberta licence plate.

An investigation into the collision is still underway and police ask anyone with information to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
