Water outages in store as Ridgevalley upgrades water system

There will be water outages in Ridgevalley over the next several days as the MD of Greenview upgrades its water treatment system. It is installing a new reverse osmosis system that should be up and running in two months.

There will be an outage on Thursday, August 24th for about two hours starting at 9 a.m. The water will also be off on Saturday, August 26th and Monday, August 28th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The outages are needed as pipes connecting the treatment plant to the system will be replaced. The Crooked Creek water point will also be tied in so potable water can be carried there as well.

DeBolt and Little Smoky already have reverse osmosis water treatment and distribution systems in place. Anyone with questions is urged to contact Greenview Environmental Services.
