UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say Elanora has been found safe and thank the public for their help in finding her.
A missing girl is believed to be in the Grande Prairie area. 13 year old Elanora Sutherland was supposed to return to Edmonton after a trip to the Swan City on April 3rd, but never came home.
She was last seen leaving her house in Edmonton on her way to Grande Prairie to visit family at the end of March. Her disappearance was reported on May 1st and authorities believe she is still in the area.
Elanora is described as Aboriginal, 5’4″, and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and a scar over her left eyebrow. She was wearing a backpack the last time she was seen.
Grande Prairie RCMP say people are worried for the teen’s well being, and ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
