The Grande Prairie Live Theatre deserves a round of applause after taking home a provincial award over the weekend. The theatre was up against businesses in Lethrbidge, Calgary and Edmonton for an Arts and Culture award and took home the win at the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction.
Although they didn’t take home the win, Bear Creek Funeral Home made it to the top four in the Small Business Category.
The ceremony was held Friday at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. The awards and nominations are given to organizations and businesses that have shown achievement and give back to the community.
