Stolen Lamborghinis found on same property as automatic weapons

A second search of a property where multiple automatic weapons were found last week has turned up two stolen Lamborghinis. Manning RCMP first went through the property in Deadwood on February 17th and seized 37 firearms and a large amount of ammunition. That included a prohibited Chinese-made AK-47 and a rifle believed to be modified to fire fully automatic.

A warrant was issued for 33 year old Chad Wood, and he turned himself in three days later. He was charged with 33 criminal offences surrounding firearms and prohibited weapons.

On the 22nd, police went back and found the stolen luxury vehicles. Wood is now facing additional charges of possession of property obtained by crime, altering a Vehicle Identification Number and possession of cocaine. He’ll appear in Peace River court on February 27th.
