All four candidates for the PC leadership will be in Grande Prairie for a town hall Friday. From 7 to 9 p.m., members can hear from Jason Kenney, Richard Starke, Stephen Khan and Byron Nelson.
The process to select a leader is a new one this year. Each constituency in the province gets to choose 15 people to represent them at the vote in Calgary on March 18th. That includes 10 open spots and five reserved for local executives.
Delegates have already been picked in GP-Smoky, but the selection meeting for GP-Wapiti isn’t until February 11th. The deadline to register as a member in order to vote is 14 days before the delegate selection meeting.
The Grande Prairie town hall will be held at the Pomeroy Hotel. Attendance costs $15 as a fundraiser for the local and provincial PC associations. In order to vote
