Children okay after school bus collision

Children on board a school bus this morning are okay after a low speed collision in the north east part of the city. Grande Prairie and District Catholic School Superintendent Karl Germann says the bus was near Holy Cross School when a car slid into the bus. He adds everyone was checked out by an EMT afterwards.

“The bus was from Holy Cross it was not moving when a low speed collision occurred. Kids were from the North East part of the City and checked were out by EMS.”

The bus picks up kids from the North East part of the city and drops off kids at I.V. Macklin School and Holy Cross Catholic School.

There has been reports of collision and slippery roads all over the peace. A freezing rain warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie region by Environment Canada.
