Former world champ Jason Glass had the best time on night one of WPCA Chuckwagon racing at Stompede.
Glass put up a time of 1:16:98, putting him almost two full seconds ahead of Chad Fike. M
ike Vigen was fastest among the local drivers, and sits 10th after night one.
Among WCA chucks, Tyson Graham had the best time, while 69 year old Chris Spreen leads the All-Pro circuit after night one.
In rodeo action, Oregon’s R.C. Landgingham tied a Stompede record with an 89 score in the bareback.
Other leaders after day one include Dustin Flundra of Pincher Creek in Saddle Bronc, Texan Clint Robinson in tie-down roping, Brock Butterfield of Ponoka in steer wrestling, Warburg’s Jesse Torkelson in bull riding, and Kerilee Noval of Turner Valley in ladies’ barrel racing.
