A youth has been charged with manslaughter in connection with Grande Prairie’s third homicide of the year. Because of their age, the suspect is not being named publicly.
The youth was taken into custody after a man was found stabbed at a Ranchlands apartment around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30th. The victim was taken to hospital, where they passed away a short time later.
RCMP have confirmed it was not a random attack, and say they are not looking for any other suspect. The Major Crimes Unit out of Edmonton is leading the investigation.
