RCMP in Dawson Creek are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian in the Safeway parking lot nearly a month ago. The hit and run happened in front of the north doors of the shop on October 26th. A blue truck hit a man and then a shopping cart as it sped off.
The driver is described as a younger man who is slim, has short blond hair and a shaved face. His truck is believed to be a Dodge, and is lifted with black tires and black wheels. It likely has some damage on its front end from hitting the shopping cart.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. An update on the victim’s condition has not been given.
