UPDATE: The coroner has ruled the woman’s death as not suspicious.
RCMP are calling the death of a woman in Patterson suspicious. Her body was found around 1:25 a.m. Sunday morning.
Patterson Road near 84th Avenue was closed for several hours. No further details on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death have been released at this time.
The victim’s name is not being made public, pending notification of next of kin. Police ask anyone with information on this matter to contact the Grande Prairie detachment or Crime Stoppers.
