A family who reportedly just moved here from Fort McMurray had their truck and trailer stolen last night. The theft happened in Cobblestone around 8 p.m.
According to posts on social media, the vehicles were taken as they were being unloaded, and a family member was run over in the process. Grande Prairie RCMP confirm a man was treated by EMS on scene for his injuries.
The trailer has been recovered, but the pickup remains missing. The case is still under investigation.
