Vermilion-Lloydminster MLA running for PC leadership

There are now four people officially in the running to lead the Progressive Conservative Party. Vermilion-Lloydminster MLA Richard Starke announced his intention this morning, saying he wants to unite Albertans under the banner of the Progressive Conservative party.

In his previous appointment as minister for Tourism, Parks, and Recreation, Starke argues he’s made it to many communities across the province, and is recognizable to many.

The vote for the PC leadership takes place on March 18, 2017. Starke joins Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson, former MP Jason Kenney and former P-C cabinet minister Donna Kennedy-Glans.
