It’s believed speed and alcohol may have been a factor in a fatal collision near Dawson Creek Friday night. The single vehicle rollover happened on the Dangerous Goods Route around 9:30 p.m.
When RCMP arrived, a pickup truck was in the ditch and people injured in the crash were standing on the road. Two others were performing CPR on an unresponsive male, who later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The other four people in the vehicle when it rolled were also treated.
An investigation into the incident continues and anyone who may have witnessed it or has information is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
