There’s been a quick turnaround in the case against a man accused of robbing the TD bank on the west side of Grande Prairie. 50 year old Robert Walker of no fixed address appeared in court earlier this week and plead guilty to robbery.
He was arrested several days after the hold up at the TD Canada Trust on West Side Drive. On August 14th, a man demanded money from a teller and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Walker has been handed a three year sentence, minus 21 days credit for time served. No one was injured during the robbery.
