A work camp near Peace River is up for sale and Ritchie Bros. are calling it one of their biggest items in their inventory.
The 1200 person camp is located northeast of the town about 50 kilometres. Ritchie Brothers Auctions says the camp site has all the bells and whistles. It includes modern living suites, a gym and track, medical clinic, full service dining, wireless internet, waste water treatment plant and back up generators.
On their site, they say that in their 55 year history the physical size is unmatched. It was built in 2013 and if someone does purchase it, they are responsible for dismantling the entirety of the camp to move it.
Ritchie Bros. holds their next auction in the area in Valley View August 5th.
