UPDATE: Occupational Health and Safety and RCMP are investigating a crash that happened on Highway 672. RCMP say initial indications say that the construction vehicle rolled into the ditch with two workers inside. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
There still is no estimated time of re-opening.
Beaverlodge RCMP have confirmed this afternoon’s crash on Highway 672 resulted in at least one fatality. 511 Alberta first reported the single vehicle collision around 1:30 p.m.
Emerson Trail is closed between Range Road 81 and 82 south of La Glace and there’s no estimated time for reopening. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
