Grande Prairie motorcyclist killed in B.C. crash

The victim of a fatal crash in B.C. has been identified as a 31 year old Grande Prairie man. Jodi Aaron Rush was riding a motorcycle on Highway 4 near Ucluelet on June 26th when he was involved in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer. He was declared dead at the scene.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. as Rush was heading eastbound and the truck westbound. According to the Times Colonist, a preliminary investigation suggested the motorcyclist crossed the yellow line into the path of the truck driver. The road conditions were dry at the time.

RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating his death and his family has been notified.
