RCMP in Dawson Creek have issued a warning after three drug overdoses over the weekend. One of them was fatal.
Police haven’t confirmed what drugs were involved, but like in Alberta, the region has been dealing with an increase in the use of fentanyl. Fentanyl is an opioid that has similar effects to heroin and can be life threatening.
Mounties are warning all residents not to take illegal drugs, as they may not know what they’re actually getting.
