Suspect seen running from Bello Stylez crash

Witnesses say a man was seen running away from the scene after a pickup truck crashed into a local business Wednesday morning. Around 6 a.m., a grey GMC Sierra drove onto the curb and hit a parking metee before driving into the front glass windows of Bello Stylez Barbershop on 100th Avenue.

RCMP say the truck had been reported stolen out of the Grande Prairie area in May. The salon’s owner says nothing was taken from the shop, and no one was inside at the time. An investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

This is the second incident involving a truck driving into a barbershop in just two weeks. Back on June 5th, a pickup was found inside Tommy Gun’s as it was destroyed by fire. It’s being treated as arson, but the most recent case isn’t as clear.
