Mountview residents won’t be able to access their neighbourhood through the entrance on 92nd Street for part of this week. The intersection at 111th Avenue is being dug up so the road can be rebuilt.
The closure is expected to end by Thursday, but during that time no traffic will be allowed through. Residents are asked to instead use 108th Avenue.
People who take public transit will also be affected. Route 1 will not serve 111 Ave or 93A Street, and stops 160 and 164 will be closed. Instead, the bus stop at 108 Avenue and 93 Street will be use. The bus will travel south on 92 Street, west on 108 Ave and then south on 93 Street.
