Grande Prairie was the warmest place in Alberta yesterday. It reached 19.9 degrees in the 6 p.m. hour Wednesday, just one point higher than Eaglesham, and a degree warmer than Beaverlodge.
However, the temperature was far from a record. The hottest April 27th on record in Grande Prairie was 25 degrees in 1980.
A high of 21 is in the forecast today, which is also no where near the April 28th record of 25.6 degrees, which was also set in 1980.
