Suncor Energy has posted a net loss of $2-billion for their final three months of 2015. The biggest oilsands player in Canada was affected by the steep drop in crude oil prices.
The energy company set a budget of $6.7 billion to $7.3 billion in November but have taken their spending plans for 2016 to a budget of between $6 billion and $6.5 billion.
Last year, Suncor posted their net profit at $84 million.
