A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making a stop in Fox Creek in September.
The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will be located at the Fox Creek Health Care Centre, located at 600 3rd Street, from September 10 to 11.
Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.
Screening is available at no cost for eligible individuals, but appointments are required. To book an appointment, you can call 1-800-667-0604 or to learn more about the program.
