RCMP investigating random attacks on Muskoseepi walking trails

Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating what police believe to be two random attacks on the Muskoseepi walking trails

Mounties say that on May 4 and May 6, two assaults that they believe to be related took place on the Muskoseepi Park walking trails near Bear Creek Park, between 68 and 84 ave.

Police say the first victim was allegedly struck in the back on the head with a pipe, by a man riding a bike. The second victim reported a similar incident.

RCMP added that nothing was stolen from either of the victims, and the attacks appear to be random.

Police are asking the public to be vigilant when using those paths until further notice. If you have any information regarding these incidents, you are asked to please contact the RCMP.
