Mobile mammography trailer making Grande Cache stop this weekend

A mobile mammography screening trailer will be making it’s way into Grande Cache on Saturday.

The screenings will be offered to individuals that are eligible aged from 45 to 74. The trailer will first be parked at the Grande Cache Community Health Complex on Saturday, Feb. 7th. The trailer will then become available again between the 9th to 12th. 

Officials say that mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better, and could save lives down the road.

Screenings are free of charge to those that are eligible. However, appointments are required. To book an appointment, you can call 1-800-667-0604
