Saddle Hills County Health Clinic now offering Pap tests

The Saddle Hills County Health Clinic is now offering cervical cancer screening, commonly known as Pap tests, to county residents as part of its preventive health services, the county said in a news release.

Cervical cancer screening is a key component of preventive health care and can save lives by identifying abnormal cell changes early, often before cancer develops or symptoms appear, the county said.

Women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 69 may be eligible for screening. Residents are encouraged to speak with their health-care provider about when to get screened and which screening option is appropriate for them, according to the release.

Details about the Saddle Hills County Health Clinic, including available services, appointment booking and frequently asked questions, are available on the county’s website.
