Ken Sargent House moves onto next stage of construction

The basement and first floor of the Ken Sargent House has now been completed.

The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundations Ken Sargent House first started construction back last summer, however, according to the Director of the house Dale Bond, there is still plenty of funding left to do.

So far the foundation has raised roughly $7 million for the house, but still need an approximate $5 million more. According to Bond, there is still plenty of sponsorship spots remaining, starting at $10,000.

The construction for the project is on track according to Bond, and that we can expect to see the house open next November, she says she’s very excited to see how good the project is coming along.

“I’m very excited, we can’t wait to provide this service for our region and help families access healthcare in Grande Prairie.”
