A grocery store in Horse Lake was robbed Monday morning. The armed robbery happened at Dee’s Grocery around 10 a.m. when someone came in to the store with a knife.
Beaverlodge RCMP says they demanded money from the cashier and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee followed their instructions and wasn’t hurt.
It’s unclear whether the suspect is a man or a woman as a black scarf was wrapped around their head. They were also wearing a black jacket and bright green and yellow pants with horizontal stripes.
