The newly re-branded Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park had hoped to let some people onto the ski hill this weekend, but Mother Nature has other ideas. It’s been slightly warmer than usual for this time of year, meaning the soft opening has been pushed back to Saturday, November 21.
Crews have been out making snow since October when it’s been cold enough, and it’s expected temperatures will drop to minus 14 this Sunday and stay cold through next week. The tube zone will likely be the first area to open, followed by the terrain park.
