A 46 year old man was found dead at work in the Spirit River area earlier this month.
Occupational Health and Safety says the Copper Tip Energy Services employee was nitrogen testing pipelines but didn’t answer his radio after he was done pumping the nitrogen. A coworker found him unresponsive in his chair, and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
He was discovered around 4:25 p.m. on September 18th at a Tourmaline Oil Company site. The Medical Examiner’s Office is looking into his cause of death, but it’s believed to be medical-related.
