Police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of the Avondale Convenience Store Saturday morning. A man armed with what’s believed to have been a can of bear mace demanded money from the clerk just before 11:30 a.m.
When the employee pressed the panic button, the man took the cash drawer and ran out of the store. No one was hurt and he was last seen headed west.
The suspect is described as around 5’6″Â with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie pulled over his head, a black neck warmer over his face and black pants.
Anyone with info is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
