Seven Generations has wrapped up another successful fundraising golf tournament. The company, which operates a natural gas project south of Grande Prairie, raised more than $325,000 for the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital Foundation.
The foundation’s Executive Director Cindy Park says this is a tremendous achievement, especially during a time when the energy industry is enduring a significant slowdown.
Seven Generations CEO Pat Carlson says the money raised in the tournament show how the natural gas industry continues to contribute to making the Grande Prairie Region an even better place to live, work and play.
Since 2013, the annual Seven Generations golf tournament, along with its suppliers and service companies, have helped to raise $810,000. All of the money raised is being directed towards the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital campaign.
