An ATM stolen from a Dawson Creek Money Mart has turned up in Grande Prairie. RCMP says three people drove into the front window of the shop early this morning and made off with the bank machine.
Police have already found two vehicles believed to be connected to the smash and grab, and think a third is a stolen 2001 Dodge white pickup truck with chrome accents and a B.C. licence plate.
There have been several reports of ATM thefts over the past month in the Peace region. Businesses in Grande Prairie, Spirit River, Fairview and Fahler have also been targeted. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
